Position: PR + Communications Specialist (Fully Remote) 

PR & Communications Specialists have a passion for delivering outstanding service to our clients and interacting directly with them. Set up shop in your home-based office and bring your drive for stellar PR and communications to work each day! In this position, you will conduct PR discussions, research trending news topics, develop strategic media pitches, ghostwrite content, write and edit company communications, and pitch stories to the media. The candidate must also be a creative thinker and be able to lead across day-to-day and big-picture efforts. Must enjoy a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where team collaboration and creative ideas count!  

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism, business, pre-law, or related field. A law degree is also acceptable. 
  • Have at least 2-5 years of agency or in-house PR experience with established media contacts. 
  • Excellent writer and an outstanding pitcher. 
  • News-junkie! We need someone who stays on top of the latest trends and developments for Promova clients. 
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization are a must. 

In this role, you will be required to:  

  1. Write and edit content. We love to tell our client’s stories and drive exposure. 
  2. Ghostwrite and edit client articles, quotes, and award submissions.  
  3. Meet with clients via Zoom, Teams, other remote software, or in person if circumstances warrant. 
  4. Develop and pitch media placements to relevant publications. You must have a hunger for getting media placements for our clients. 
  5. Participate in media training and simulation. 
  6. Assist in coordinating and onboarding clients to Promova’s martech software services. The ideal candidate likes to learn new things and knows that we are always improving and open to new, fresh ideas from everyone at Promova. 
  7. Work with the team to strategize and plan client and company initiatives. 
  8. Take on other special projects as assigned.
