Leading The Breakthrough: Campaign Storytelling for WHM

Breakthroughs don’t always announce themselves. They show up over time, built through courage, persistence, and a steady belief in what’s possible. This Women’s History Month, we told those stories through our #leadingthebreakthrough series.

We built a campaign designed to do what strong brand storytelling should do: honor legacy, create relevance, and move people to action. From Doris Fleischman, often recognized as the Mother of PR, to Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg, founders of theSkimm the media platform created by and for women, each story highlighted the same thread: courage, creativity, and conviction.

We featured Inspiring Voices in Journalism: Jada Chin (Bloomberg Industry Group), Ellen Jones (Law360), and Lindsay Lewis (Building Enclosure Magazine). Their work reflects where reporting is headed, and why storytelling still matters, especially as AI continues to permeate our lives.

For #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrated the programs that provide innovative opportunities to girls in STEAM. The most meaningful breakthroughs happen when we invest in one another and are driven forward by a collective of voices and risk takers. For the past six years, we’ve been proud to support and give back to Black Girls CodeBig Dreams Bloom, and Project Scientist. We know the next generation deserves more access, more opportunity, and more avenues to shine. We are honored to be a part of it.

Our team also kept the momentum going by publishing industry-relevant thought leadership, including recent articles in Law.com, New York Law Journal, and BD+C; visit our News page to read more.

Gizu’s Torch Will Continue to Burn

Lastly, a personal note from our Founder

Every year during Women’s History Month, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my grandmother Gizu’s story. It became a tradition around the halls of Promova and Find A Rainmaker, one rooted in resilience, possibility, and legacy, and one that I never wanted to end.

Last year, it did.

Right before my birthday, Gizu passed away at the age of 104. And while I miss her immensely, I also feel something else very clearly: a responsibility and an invitation to carry forward what she started.

Read the full tribute here. Thank you for helping us carry her legacy forward.

How Can We Help You?

We hope this month is a reminder that meaningful campaigns start with intention and end with impact. If your team is thinking about a story with purpose this year, we’d love to be a thought partner.
