Promova Wins Gold MarCom Award for Strategic Communications and Marketing

We’re thrilled to announce that Promova has been awarded the Gold MarCom Award, in partnership with our client T&T Construction Management Group, for the work on the company’s year-long anniversary campaign called 30 Years of Building a Resilient Legacy. Promova provided year-long media coverage, strategic content planning and designed the anniversary microsite, celebrating the company’s milestones through storytelling and collaborative marketing efforts. We were awarded in the Strategic Communications and Marketing Category, which recognizes excellence in communication, strategic planning and branding.  

The MarCom award is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and honors excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work, and generosity of industry professionals.   

Standing Out Among Global Competition 

The MarCom Awards represent one of the most prestigious competitions in the marketing and communications industry, with over 6,500 entries submitted annually from more than 135 countries.

As a woman-owned construction firm, T&T tapped Promova, a fellow woman-owned company, to assist with the strategic public relations planning and execution, content and creative design. The award-winning campaign encompassed a 12-month PR, Content and Branding Plan that encompassed timely news topics, editorial calendar opportunities, industry events, various project types, and special company initiatives. The Promova team also designed a microsite with interactive elements, unifying campaign communications with updates throughout the year.   

The T&T anniversary campaign showcased Promova’s ability to:

A Rigorous Evaluation Process 

What makes the MarCom Awards particularly credible is their commitment to fairness and consistency in judging. The evaluation process is both thorough and impartial: 

  • Two months of full-time work are dedicated to judging all entries 
  • Entries are evaluated by judges in Washington, D.C., and reviewed in Dallas 
  • Each entry is judged against itself, not directly against other entries 
  • Judges evaluate work solely on its own quality, creativity, and resourcefulness
